ABOUT
Rob Woodburn Agency was built to bring genuine Hollywood agency and management standards into the Australian market — not as aspiration, but as practice. RWA exists to serve actors who want careers built deliberately, professionally, and to global standards.
ROB WOODBURN
Rob Woodburn is a senior talent representative with nearly three decades of experience across the Australian and U.S. entertainment industries. He is the Founder and Director of Rob Woodburn Agency (RWA), an authority-led agency and management firm operating to rigorous professional standards.
Rob’s career was forged inside the U.S. entertainment system, where he worked across both talent agency and talent management roles — a dual perspective that remains rare in Australia. He began his career at the William Morris Agency, one of the most influential agencies in the world, before moving into talent management at ROAR, where he represented lead actors attached to films and television series including The Last Samurai, Fantastic Four, How I Met Your Mother, Sex and the City, and Nip/Tuck.
Rob later developed, launched, and ran the Film & Television Division of Jet Set Models, successfully expanding the agency’s screen presence and placing talent across major U.S. film and television productions.
He was subsequently headhunted to Australia to rebuild and professionalise the Film & Television Division of Artist & Entertainment Group (AEG), then Australia’s largest talent agency. During his tenure, AEG experienced significant growth and structural expansion, culminating in a successful public listing on the ASX. Rob played a central role in elevating screen representation standards and bringing the division into line with the operational and commercial realities of the global film and television business.
Alongside his industry career, Rob is a U.S. Navy veteran. His military service instilled discipline, accountability, and precision under pressure — principles that directly inform how RWA operates. This is not branding language; it is operational culture. Professionalism is expected. Standards are enforced. Advocacy is deliberate.
Rob holds dual U.S.–Australian citizenship and operates within the Australian market, applying senior Hollywood agency and management experience to the local industry while maintaining an informed perspective on external markets. Through RWA, he works with actors whose ambition is matched by discipline and readiness to execute when opportunity arrives.
THE RWA MODEL
Rob Woodburn Agency operates on a hybrid agency-and-management model.
Representation is selective. Advocacy is deliberate. Careers are built through momentum — not isolated transactions.
RWA works with actors who understand that serious careers are earned through discipline, consistency, and sustained professional performance — not hype, shortcuts, or entitlement.
THE CODE
RWA’s professional standards, expectations, and operating principles are formally defined in The Code.
The Code exists to protect careers, maintain trust with industry partners, and ensure that every client relationship is built on clarity, accountability, and performance.
It’s not aspirational — it’s enforceable.
